This page explains what mixtape.works collects when you use a mixtape account, why, and what you can do about it. Individual products may collect more; each one has its own privacy page.

Who we are

mixtape.works is run by Human Hygiene Kft., 1163 Budapest, Datolya utca 40., Hungary (company registration number 01-09-464537, EU VAT number HU12087783). For your mixtape account, we are the controller of your data. Inside a product your employer uses (Voks, Dayrule), your employer is the controller of what it puts there and we process it on its behalf; that product’s own privacy page says what it holds. What we collect

• When you create an account: your email address, a name if you give one, and your password — stored only as a hash, never in plain text.
• When you sign in: a record of the session, including your IP address and browser type, so you can see where your account is signed in and end sessions you don’t recognise.
• When you use a product with your account: which of our products you have signed in to, so we can show them on your account page.
• When you open our pages: we count how many times each public page is opened each day, and which site a visit came from (only that site’s name). No IP address, no cookie, no device details — nothing that tells one visit from another.

What we use it for, and on what basis

To run your account, sign you in to our products, and send you account emails such as verification and password reset. The legal basis is the contract you enter by opening the account (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); keeping a record of sign-ins is our legitimate interest in keeping the account safe (Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.

Who else handles it

• Our servers are in Finland (Hetzner Online GmbH).
• Cloudflare sits in front of our services for security and performance.
• Resend delivers our account emails.

Cookies

We set two cookies: one that keeps you signed in to your account, and one that remembers the language you picked. There are no tracking or advertising cookies on this site or in your account.

How long we keep it

Your account data for as long as the account exists; when you ask us to close it, we delete it. A sign-in record lasts as long as that session does.

Your rights

You can see and change your details on your account page. To export or delete your account, or for anything else, email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH) or to the one in your own country.

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will say so here and update the date above.
